Bournemouth’s once-a-week fabric shop! We are a textile converter and manufacturer, and once a week, we open our doors to the public. Explore a wide range of fabric sold by the metre, perfect for makers of all kinds.

You’ll find THE BIG LITTLE FABRIC SHOP conveniently located on Wimborne Road, Moordown. We’re easily accessible by local bus routes, with shared free on-street parking usually available right outside.

We may be small but don’t go elsewhere until you’ve visited us!

We’re open to the public every Thursday from 10am to 2pm.

As a busy online retailer, we are usually packing orders and working on our website, so public access to our fabric warehouse is limited. However, if you can’t make it when we are open, feel free to get in touch and we may be able to arrange a visit by appointment.

Our workroom team are all skilled machinists and can make curtains to almost any specification. Although they are busy they are often available to make custom orders. Please pop in to discuss, don’t forget your measurements!

Our fabrics are all furnishing fabrics. That isn’t to say they can’t be used for more creative applications (we’ve seen all sorts!) but do bear in mind the fabrics are heavier in weight and designed for upholstery and curtaining. We do not stock lighter weight fabrics like drill, poplin, muslin, etc.

At the current time we only stock fabrics, a selection of finished cushions, and cushion pads.
